WhereInDE.com fans, thanks for being awesome! You made August our biggest and busiest yet. To date, the website has had over 21,000 views from over 8,700 visitors since it launched in February.

Some efforts have been made to clean up the look of the homepage and question pages. For example, the Facebook share buttons have been removed from each of the question pages since the buttons were rarely used. We also linked our site up with Twitoaster, which means our Twitter followers can simply reply (not re-tweet) to questions on Twitter and those answers will automatically post as an answer on our website.  Pretty cool, huh? In August, we also had some fun with Governor Markell’s office by launching the Which Does Delaware “Like” More campaign. During the month of August, our Facebook page grew from 1504 to 1775 fans.

Improvements and additions to our advertising options have also been made. If you know any local businesses looking for new ways to advertise, this is definitely an affordable option. For September, we’re offering one month free with 3 paid months.

What’s next? A couple different options to improve the Free Business Directory are currently being considered. If your business is not listed yet, add it now. The business directory upgrade is definitely slated for September. Options for a local event calendar are also being researched, but there is no development timeline for this yet.
