The Sea Witch Halloween and Fiddler's Festival in Rehoboth Beach, DE Oct. 29-31 should be fantastic.
Another great fall festival is the World Championship Punkin Chunkin competition which will be at the Wheatley Farm in Bridgeville, DE Nov. 5-7.

Not in DE, but not far is Tyler Arboretum in Media, PA. They have really cool themed treehouses all throughout their trails, plus a pond, butterfly house and vegetable garden. We are going to check out their Pumpkin Days this weekend (10/16 and 10/17)- looks like a great time for the kids.

The Downtown Fall Fest is held in Downtown Wilmington on Sat. Nov. 6. It is completely free and has hayrides, moon bounces, food vendors, far flung bungy, karaoke contest, trackless train and a more! Check out www.downtownwilmington.com for details.
You can find festivals and activities relating to kids (of all ages, from toddlers to teens!) on the calendar at Ready, Set, Kidoo (www.readysetkidoo.com). We cover everything kid in Sussex County, from state park programs, to theater performances, library activities, concerts, parades, carnivals, holiday celebrations, museums, bowling, skating, even kids eat free specials...including all the information you need like price, location, and age eligibility, so you can plan out your adventures from one central calendar.
We also created a hub where you can view photos and get the scoop on parks and playgrounds, businesses, and seasonal events all over the area. Want to know if there’s a barbeque grill at the Jay’s Nest? Not sure if there’s enough parking for your Sunday family picnic? Wondering if your local bowling alley offers a birthday package? Need to know when your town’s Christmas parade starts? We’ve got you covered with our Photo and Review site. It’s a work in progress, so feel free to contribute as we build our library of reviews and photos.
You can also follow us on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Ready-Set-Kidoo/245160195523242) for daily recipes, activity and craft ideas, reminders about events, kid book reviews, and other awesome family stuff.
