Where to Recycle Christmas Trees in New Castle County?
I would like to recycle my Christmas tree – maybe make some mulch or for use in a park. Where can I take my Christmas tree in New Castle County that won’t charge me a whole lot?

@WhereInDE Yeah, that was a nightmare for us, as two of the places were closed and didn't say so on the website...

Lydia Pagnotti If you can, find a wooded area and dump it. Just as ecologically sound as recycling - it will provide food and shelter for wild animals, and enrich the soil as it decomposes. Or burn it - trees are carbon neutral when burnt.
Elizabeth Mauragas There is one on polly drummond hill road off Kirkwood Hwy directly across from white clay creek state park. There are tons of trees there now and it's a great for dumping leaves in the fall. Hope this was helpful.
I dropped mine off today at Holland Mulch, 135 Hay Rd., in Edgemoor:
