Though not a sports bar per se, Stewart's Brewing in Bear is an excellent place to watch a game. Many TVs, some humongous, which can be seen from just about any seats. Awesome beer brewed on premises; excellent food.

Hard to answer....depends on the sport too... a lot of choices. Best hockey (Flyers)bar..would be Tyler' s in Pike Creek. Most TV's would likely be Wild Wings. I like McGlynns for football as well. You have to put Stanleys in the mix, not to mention like the best wings in the state!

Honerable mentions: Six Paupers, believe it or not Big Fish Grill (lots of well placed huge tvs), Washington St Alehouse, Champs (not bad for a mall location).

Milford area- Abbots Grill. Beach Area: Bethany Blues, Green Turtle, Applebees Dover: Buffalo Wild Wings & Dover Downs Spors Bar. The last 2 places r def. Places to go to watch a big game. Applebee's @ the beach has a few tvs and fans gather there a lot too (esp football season). Also Dover Downs Sports Bar is an excellent spot lots of space tables and lounge chairs. Been to all these places during sporting events, I say Bethany Blues& BWW rank best as far as variety.

@WhereInDE Tailgate's Sports bar in Neark is great for Football, Hockey and March Madness. Great food, lots of TVs.

This is a tricky one to answer, but I think lively atmosphere goes to CR Hooligans in Trolley Square. Most TV's & Better quality food goes to Stanley's Tavern in N. Wilmington.
