In a nutshell, WhereInDE.com connects locals to answer each other’s questions.

Why WhereInDE.com is Needed

Often times, finding simple answers to very specific questions is impossible through traditional channels. For example, this site started when site creator, Phil Woods, asked “Where can I get a propane tank refilled in Wilmington?”

Benefits

We think information from WhereInDE.com is better than from typical reviews. Trying to research businesses on review sites can be frustrating. One-star complaints without much explanation, and false positives submitted by business owners and employees can distract you from making a sound decision.

Through WhereInDE, you can engage the community to answer your questions and provide advice.

In addition to making it easier to gather information to make an informed decision, we think the outcome will be greater support for local independent businesses.  You’ll be able to discover those hidden gems – that may not be on the main road, don’t advertise, or don’t even have a website.
